Cardiology/EEG Services
Heart disease is the number one cause of death for both men and women in the United States. Every 34 seconds, someone in the US suffers from a heart attack. Coronary heart disease is the most common type of heart disease, killing nearly 380,000 people annually.
The Department of Cardiology and EEG Services is a full diagnostic service located on the 1st floor of CareWell Health Medical Center and operates 8 hours a day, seven days a week.
Outpatient services include electrocardiograms (EKG), echocardiography (Echo), stress test, transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), holter monitoring and electroencephalograms (EEG).

Routine EKGs as well as all other cardiology services can be scheduled immediately by calling 973-266-4450. Same-day appointments available.

Medical Staff:
All Practitioners providing Cardiology and EEG Services are Board Certified. These include the Medical Director for Cardiology and the Medical Director for Neurology.
Technical Staff:
All technical personnel providing Cardiology and EEG services are certified by an Accredited training program and/or are registered or registry eligible by an accredited credentialing agency specific for their position and have appropriate training and competence assured through continuing education and/or department in-service education.
