Dr. Imran Ashraf is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist, committed to helping both athletes and active individuals regain their strength and vitality. Since 2014, he has been serving the Hudson County community, holding leadership roles as the Chief of Orthopedic Surgery at Carepoint Health, encompassing Hoboken University Medical Center and Bayonne Medical Center. As the founding member and owner of Hudson Pro Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine, Dr. Ashraf combines extensive medical training with a deep understanding of his patients' needs, from high-performing athletes to elderly individuals seeking improved mobility.

Dr. Ashraf's expertise extends beyond sports medicine, with a particular focus on robotic knee and hip replacements for elderly patients. His skillful use of advanced surgical techniques helps to restore mobility and improve the quality of life for aging members of the community.

His medical journey includes an internship at New York Medical College/St. Vincent's Hospital, an orthopedic surgery residency at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, and a fellowship in orthopedic sports medicine at the University of Miami, where he served as a team physician for the Miami Marlins, University of Miami Athletics, and US Sailing. He also holds specialized training in pediatric orthopedic surgery at Mass General Hospital and orthopedic trauma at the Shock Trauma Center at Baltimore's University of Maryland Medical Center.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Ashraf actively participates in community organizations, such as the New Jersey Chapter of The Association of Physicians of Pakistani Descent of North America (APPNA-NJ). He has provided care to high school and college athletes and previously served as the team physician for Secaucus High School. His dedication extends to enhancing the health and well-being of people throughout Hudson County and the New York Tristate area. Outside of his practice, Dr. Ashraf enjoys running, weight lifting, nutrition, and yoga, all of which fuel his passion for an active lifestyle. He is also an avid reader and trained pilot, continually striving for excellence both professionally and personally.

Physician Associate, Orthopedics

Orthopedic/Trauma Sports Medicine Cartilage Restoration

Kevin is a physician associate who joins the CareWell community with over a decade of orthopedic and trauma experience. He completed his undergraduate studies at the Pennsylvania State University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. While at Penn State, he also played wide receiver on the football team under legendary coach Joe Paterno.

He went on to complete his physician assistant studies at Long Island University, Brooklyn. Kevin began his physician associate career working for a private orthopedic practice based in northern New Jersey and Manhattan. There he cultivated a variety of clinical and surgical skills including sports injury treatment, joint replacement, acute fracture care, and arthroscopies. Additionally, he was involved in concussion management and research.

In 2017 he started at the Center for Advanced Sports Medicine Knee and Shoulder. There he continued to provide the highest quality care for all patients using cutting edge technology centered around cartilage restoration. Moreover, he also assisted in a research study that was published in the Journal of Orthopedics.

Kevin has also been trained by board certified providers in neurosurgery as well as spine surgery. He is committed to providing exceptional patient care and expanding his skillset.

Additionally, Kevin's skillset extends outside of healthcare. He has been coaching and training student-athletes in the nearby public schools for nearly a decade.
