Our Family-Centered Approach

Before any treatment begins, we take the time to understand your child as a whole person — because the right placement starts with a thorough evaluation.

1

Comprehensive Evaluation

Every child's journey begins with an in-depth clinical assessment. Our providers evaluate behavioral patterns, emotional well-being, academic performance, family dynamics, social relationships, and environmental factors. By looking at every dimension of your child's life, we gain a complete picture — not just symptoms — to guide the most effective course of care.

2

Determining the Right Placement

Based on the evaluation, our clinical team determines which level and type of care is the best fit for your child — whether that's individual therapy, group sessions, family counseling, medication management, or a combination. Every recommendation is tailored to your child's specific needs, strengths, and circumstances to ensure the greatest chance of meaningful progress.

3

Family as Partners in Care

Lasting progress happens when families are involved. Parents, legal guardians, and other support figures are encouraged to actively participate in the treatment process. Together, we strengthen communication, build understanding, and create a stable home environment that supports your child's healing.

4

Ongoing Growth & Adjustment

As your child progresses, their treatment plan evolves with them. Through regular sessions with their psychiatric provider and therapist, we continually assess and adjust care to match their growth. Our goal is to equip children and families with healthy coping skills, self-awareness, and the confidence to thrive.

Community Education & Training

The CAPS Program also provides the community with ongoing education and training to support children's mental health beyond our clinic walls.
